व्यक्ति यह जनता है कि वह हर दिन बूढ़ा हो रहा है, हर दिन थोड़ा-थोड़ा मर रहा है, हर दिन जीवन-ऊर्जा उसके हाथों से छूटती जा रही है, फिर भी वह इसे स्वीकारता नहीं। यही सोचकर स्वयं को आश्वासन देता है, सांत्वना देता है कि मृत्यु कहीं अंत में है, इतने साल बाद है, अभी जल्दी क्या है ? अभी बहुत से काम हैं करने को। इस संसार में जब भी कोई मरता है तो कोई दूसरा मरता है, हम तो मरते नहीं। इसलिए मन में एक भ्रांति सँजोए रहते हैं कि अभी हमारी मौत होने में बहुत देर है। वैज्ञानिक भी यह मानने लगे हैं कि बहुत जल्दी इस बात को जान लिया जाएगा कि जैसे ही बच्चा माँ के गर्भ में आता है, वैसे ही यह पता चल जाएगा कि वह कितने दिन जिंदा रहेगा। क्योंकि वह जो पहला बीज है, उस बीज में ब्लू-प्रिंट है, उस बीज में जीवन-मृत्यु की पूरी कथा छिपी हुई है कि वह कितने साल जिएगा। इसे यह पता चलता है कि मनुष्य के मृत्यु का आगमन उसके जीवन के साथ ही हो जाता है और इसे टाला नहीं जा सकता है, लेकिन हर व्यक्ति अपनी मृत्यु को नजरअंदाज करता है, इसे अस्वीकार करता है।
One knows that he is getting old every day, dying a little bit every day, every day life-energy is getting released from his hands, yet he does not accept it. Thinking this assures himself, consoles himself that death is somewhere at the end, after so many years, what is the hurry? Still lots of work to do. Whenever someone dies in this world, someone else dies, we don't die. That's why we keep a misconception in our mind that it is too late for us to die now. Scientists are also beginning to believe that very soon it will be known that as soon as the child comes in the mother's womb, it will be known how many days it will live. Because that seed, which is the first seed, has a blue-print in it, the whole story of life and death is hidden in that seed, how many years it will live. It realizes that man's death comes with his life and cannot be avoided, but everyone ignores his own death, rejects it.
